Step 3- Design Development

Making it real

As decisions continue to be made the graphics evolve from diagrams to actual architecture.  The drawings are refined in regards to details and methods.  We work together to select materials and finishes and the relationships of the materials and forms are resolved and honed.  Information from other consultants, like structural and mechanical engineers (if necessary), are determined and coordinated with the design drawings. Specifications for materials, fixtures, appliances, assembly details, and relevant code information are all incorporated into the project.  Recommendations from trades, suppliers, and manufacturers are also added to the drawings.  We will continue to present you with options and work with you to make decisions at a more specific level of detail until the design is refined and finalized.
