Step 2- Concept + Schematic Design

Explore the possibilities

Based on our initial discussions, two to three preliminary designs will be generated incorporating all the information gathered. How your home is experienced is a focus of this stage. The general locations of the functions within your house are considered and graphically represented in diagram form in order to study the relationships between spaces and the basic shape the structure may take.  Material options start to become part of the discussion and your target budget for the project is revisited.  We will typically meet three to four times during this stage.  Decisions we make help fine-tune various schematic options until an overall design strategy is chosen.
